Why here — the dossier
Every highlight comes from the Yard roster — nothing invented.
Band spotlight
The Marching Maroon Typhoon is Coahoma's public face — Buggs calls it the college's primary public-relations ambassador, representing the school, Clarksdale, the Delta, and Mississippi wherever it marches. The band is known nationally among HBCU band circles (filmed extensively by Killa Kev Productions in 4K), fields the Coahoma Jewels dance team, and drills year-round for Mardi Gras-length parades. Its historic claim — Consuella Carter's 'greatest band in the South' and her flying split for majorettes — gives the modern Typhoon a legacy to live up to.
