Why here — the dossier
Every highlight comes from the Yard roster — nothing invented.
Band spotlight
The Marching Pride is Langston's loudest ambassador — Charlie Wilson of the Gap Band once served as drum major, and the Golden Felines dancers march alongside the band. The Pride has performed for the Kansas City Chiefs, Denver Nuggets, and Oklahoma City Thunder; at the Georgia Dome, AT&T Stadium, and the Edward Jones Dome; in four Honda Battle of the Bands; at New Orleans Mardi Gras; and on the national stage at the National Battle of the Bands in Houston. Their 2023 homecoming parade performance went viral on YouTube. A band photo from 1921 survives in the centennial history, showing the tradition reaches back over a century.

Deadlines are not yet published on the Yard for Langston University.
We only post deadlines verified against the school’s own admissions pages — nothing guessed, nothing borrowed. Until then, go straight to the source:
File your FAFSA early — the free federal application lives at studentaid.gov. Filing early keeps every aid option open.
