Why here — the dossier
Every highlight comes from the Yard roster — nothing invented.
Band spotlight
The Marching Bronco Xpress is the pulse of game day at Luther "Nick" Jeralds Stadium, with the X-Factor Drumline and the Queens of the MBX dance line anchoring its identity. In November 2018 the band shocked the rankings by taking the top Division II spot in the ESPN/The Undefeated HBCU band rankings on drill, design, and musicality — right after Hurricane Florence had scattered the band and canceled practices. The 2025 season took MBX to the national stage for the first time, competing for the Division II HBCU band championship at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, and the band opened the 2026 rankings second in Division II behind Virginia State.
